Monday Was Preparation.....Tuesday Was PURPOSE

On Monday, these faithful volunteers worked diligently—sorting, folding, organizing, and loading—so that Loving Others Ministry’s clothing trailer would be ready. Every jacket, every pair of pants, every folded item in these photos represents donated generosity and servant hearts preparing to meet real needs.
Then came Tuesday.
It was a bitterly cold morning at the Community Kitchen. The temperature never climbed above 32 degrees while we were there. It was so cold that for the first time ever, our Prayer Circle and the Gospel Message was held inside the Community Kitchen lunchroom.
The message was The Prodigal Son – There’s Still Away Home, shared with an added recovery and restoration focus—because so many of our friends are on hard journeys, seeking healing, reconciliation, and hope.
After the message, our new friend Yesika pictured here with the awesome beanie came forward and asked for prayer. She is trying to recover from pneumonia.
Let that sink in for a moment.
Trying to heal from a serious illness… while living outside… in freezing temperatures.
This is why the work you see in these photos’ matters.
This is why donated clothing matters.
This is why prayer matters.
This is why Christ told us to Love One Another as He Loved Us
Despite the cold, our friends braved the conditions to find what they needed to survive—and to receive spiritual encouragement, prayer, and the reminder that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.
Your donations don’t just provide clothing.
Start Living Out the Gospel Today!
They provide warmth, dignity, and hope—and they open doors for the Gospel to be shared.
Clothing donations can be dropped in the bin at The Pool Store on 13 John Davenport Dr.
